China's peace plan could be the basis for ending the Ukraine war: Putin hints

After meeting with his Chinese counterpart in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he had a frank and meaningful conversation with the Chinese President. China's peace plan can be the basis for ending the war in Ukraine, but Ukraine and the West still need to be ready for peace.

Putin said that during the meeting the Chinese President discussed the Siberian gas pipeline, and told the Chinese President that Russia can meet China's energy needs, and all practical aspects of the Siberian gas pipeline have been agreed upon, Russia 2030. will supply up to 98 cm of gas to China.

President Putin added that Chinese business companies are ready to replace Western companies leaving Russia. During the meeting, the possibility of building the Northern Sea Route to China was also discussed.

After meeting with his counterpart Vladimir Putin during a two-day visit to Russia, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that China-Russia cooperation is continuously increasing, the initial benefits of cooperation between the two countries can be seen. To promote further cooperation, bilateral practical cooperation should be promoted to achieve new objectives.

It should be remembered that China released a plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war last month. China's peace proposals include Russia-Ukraine peace talks, respect for territorial integrity and ceasefire.
U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said any plan that produces unfair results is not constructive diplomacy, raising doubts that China is protecting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

They say that a cease-fire without the withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine would support the confirmation of a Russian victory.
