India set a new record by defeating Sri Lanka by 317 runs.


After winning the toss and batting first at Thiruvananthapuram Stadium in Kerala, the Indian team scored 390 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted overs. Kohli played an inning of 166 runs off 110 balls. Apart from him, Shubman Gill also scored a century and got out after scoring 116 runs.

In reply, the Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 73 runs in 22 overs. Bhandara did not bat due to injury. Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets for 32 runs.

By defeating Sri Lanka by a huge margin of 317 runs, the Indian team has set a new record in ODI cricket.

This is the biggest win by any team in the history of ODI cricket, with India sweeping the ODI series 3-0.
